Game Objective

Try to collect all your opponents chips by winning a round (more on that later)

Game Setup

This game is played with a standard 52 card deck

Each Player is dealt two cards, with four rounds of betting and a showdown at the end to determine who wins the pot

Turn Setup:

Small and Big Blinds:

Before each hand, two players are designated as the "small blind" and "big blind". The small blind is required to make a small bet, and the big blind makes double the bet.

Player Order

The player to the left(clockwise) of the big blind starts the betting. Betting proceeds clockwise around the table.

How does betting work?

Actions:

Players can take various actions during their turn.

"Checking" is when you bet nothing.

"Raising" is when you want to bet more than the previous person.

"Calling" is when you match the previous persons bet.

"Folding" is when you decide not to match the bet and give up on winning the pot.

How does betting work? Pt2

Pre-Flop:

After receiving their hole cards, the player to the left of the big blind starts the betting. Players have the option to bet, raise, or fold.

Flop:

Three community cards are dealt face-up on the table.A second round of betting ensues starting with the small blind.

Turn:

A fourth community card, known as the "turn", is revealed. Another round of betting resumes, with the small blind.

River:

The fifth and final community card, known as the "river", is revealed. One last round of betting takes place.

How to win a round:

Everyone else folds

If all other players fold their hands, the last remaining player wins the pot. This can be done through bluffing or a lack of a good hand from the other player.
